Heads up to anyone who may have the same problem:
I fixed my "loose" prop today. When I bought the boat, the prop had some side to side slop. I tried to tighten it with no success. Today, I tried a thicker washer under the prop and it fixed the problem. The previous owner installed the prop with the wrong washer.
I guess you call it a washer. I do anyways.
I am anxious to try it out. The boat has always had a "vibration" when it is under trimmed or during sharp(ish) turns. Hopefully this fix will cure the problem.:crossfing:
