alpha outdrive question

After winter storage my outdrive goes up fine but going down it stops before reaching the hard stops...There,s 4 inches of ram showing ..Tried bleading it didn,t make any differance.....Haven,t had it in the water yet was tol it might go down with the added pressure Any ideas would be appreciated thanks....

Have you greased the pivots and also it is a good idea to grease up all teh rams end bushing.

Does the electric motor whirl fast higher pitch like it is turning in air? If so added force will clear the air out.

Sounds like oil leaking past O ring in ram tube. If so, simple to fix.
