i know i have asked this before?
i was told the 270 will mount right up in place of my 250. is this true?
i am purchaising a 270 drive, transom asy, the outdrive tilt motor, all the volvo parts, this is to be in replace for my one of my 250 drives, my one drive does do not shift smooth, i am going to switch to the 270 and have the 250 rebuilt. my 250 drive is a (B) and the 270 is (B). will the 270 work for me in replace of my 250? any problemsto have a heads upon?

Look for a 280 T (there is a couple around now) you will be much, much happier.

there are some differences in the late model 270 from the early 270 in the way the helmet attaches namely the bolt / bolts but for the most part it should be plug and play we had my 250 bolted up to a 270 boat and vice versa
