VERY cool boat! I also agree, 90 seems a bit optimistic for 600 hp and a V-drive.

I think he ment a true 9.0 out of 10:)

-------1st; A 440 six-pack would be a pretty highly stressed piece at 600 horsies. Not saying it cant be done, but it would be radical.
-------2nd; I know this model as well as anyone and 90 out of a V-drive isnt possible IMHO! I never say never, but I sure would have to see it.......Bill S

------I should have said "cool boat" in my post as it is a very cool boat regardless of any unfortunate wording in the add......Bill S
$44,000 in the header, I could see it getting into the upper 50's in good chop. Bet it has a drilled out speedo pick and no GPS, a visual thriller!

Anyone who's seen WALO knows it "only" does about 85 MPH with a Roots blown BBF and about 900 HP.
Thinking about deep vee race boats in the '60's w/V-drives and 1200 HP would go no faster.

Mr Carter your to nice, WA-LO is good for about 80 at 1000hp and I dont
think any more hp would help, its about 10 faster than it should be. But the sound I got right!

> had a 421 Tri power Pontiac, and
that motor would wind up like crazy
with all three carbs wide open.
Got good gas mileage, if you drove
it right.
I would like to hear a 3-2's in a boat
especially a Donzi w/Vdrive. Bet it
sounds like it goes a million mph

Did you guys notice who the seller is. Mike Devlin used to be active on this board years ago. I believe he also has (or had) a bench seat Hornet.
