Took the Baja 272 out for a little 14 mile jaunt last evening. What a great evening for a run. Very little boat traffic and great water. Passed a 26' or 27' red and white Donzi like it was at idle speed just inside the Senica River leg of the lake. Wait, it was at idle speed. Just a great evening to be on the water.

Evenings like that are when I still miss the 16 Classic a little. Zero room for error at speed was just more than I wanted to deal with all the time. Not that any of our boats don't require full attention at speed, but the 16's just won't settle into a comfortable cruise at 20 to 30 mph. When I was looking to replace the Classic 16 there wasn't at 24'-27' Donzi on a trailer to be had.
