Good price on 1996 25zx??

One of my trailer dealers has a 1996 25zx. He put a 496 mag crate motor in it last year. The motor has 71hrs on it. The boat has been repainted 6 months ago as well as new carpet, sterio, and snap in cover. The boat shows a 8.5 to a 9. It also comes with a aluminum trailer. The owner paid 25k for it last year and spent 7k on it. He wants 23k. What do you guys think?

I think that sounds pretty good if it is as you describe. I love mine. Does it have a pad bottom?

Don't know if the bottom is padded. It ran about 60 with 5 people and a half tank of gas. I need to upgrade to a smoother ride. I have a allison GS now and the girlfriend hates it. Shes scared of it, so am I at bout 95km:eek:

That sounds about right. Mine did 65 with one person and half a tank of fuel with the 502 Mag.

I know what you are talking about on the Allison. My brother has one. It is strange that you are talking about going to a Donzi. My brother is talking about buying a Critter or a blackhawk or 22C and putting his 698 CI Donovan that he plans on putting a blower on.
