I have a Mercury High Five (5 blade) on my boat that is a 19 pitch (13 1/4" dia). It keeps me within the WOT rpm range @ 4400 and works pretty well. My question is what would the comparable pitch be on a 3 blade prop? I want to get a spare that is similar. My 3 blade 19 pitch (14 1/4" dia) is way off at only 3700 rpm, and even though it will work in a pinch, I'd rather have a similar performing prop for a back up. The boat is a 23' Donzi with a cuddy, 5.7, 260hp and weighs in at 3800#.

This is a guess but I think a decent one!!! My kid has a 24 Searay 240 WE that weighs 4,000 it has a 260 he has a 16X15. Just last week we did some work on the boat and the prop size came up, I went to the archives on the Searay site and the prop was spot on. The weight/size of the boats being pretty close it should be worth a try. His WOT is 4300 with three aboard which is good.
