I am pretty sure that is DONZI's boat. I know that he has a 6 blade prop.

I found a few more links.

I sent Ken an email and asked him to give us an update on his boat. He is a really nice guy and a class act!!

I have not seen any update on CDMA's boats is a long time.

Ken,
is by far one of the nicest guys i have ever met even for a red sox fan ;)

and I can hear him say in that baaa habaaaa accent i took a 58 mph boat and made it a 48 mph boat ;)

I haven't seen it yet in person but I will be shortly so I'll give ya an update

Ken is sooo nice. And doesn't care about the speed. The whole thing is just an experiment. He says he is financially challenged, Like the rest of us. He will have a little extra after his children get out of school. Just like Matty and me.

I sure am humbled by your kind words and i thank you for them !:)

Update-Nothing changed in the Engine compartment, other than adding a Stainless Marine Sea Strainer. Still picking up parts for a future 540.

Currently trying to get it painted for nxt Wk.end L.George.
It's a struggle working outside in a driveway alone. But i'm making progress.
Hope to see you all Fri. !

Vid. from last yr. also.

Nice,

I can really appreciate the experiment thing. I am playing around with a few things these days and I don't care if I get one mph. I just want to learn a few things and have a better boat.

Really cool project.

Ken is also running a Bravo type prop on his Arneson drive. He also has made some really nice foils trying to effect bow lift. Back when I was trying to come up with ways to get my bow out of the water and balance the boat he was quick to send me a foil that he made and he would not even take anything for it. He really does like to experiment and come up with better ways to do things. I bet he is going to have a beast when he gets his 540 and figures out what prop he needs!

I feel like i'm in an episode of OVERHAULIN trying to make L.George.
Here's a progress pic. from this morning. :bonk:

Keith. I picked a Maximus after your feedback and will be giving that a try also. I also have straightened the bottom hull.

Ken...I think that you will see a LOT of difference between the H-6 and the Maximus. If you need to get a little more out of it ..Brett at BBlades really helped mine out and changed the attitude of the boat even more. I could not get 90 with the H-6 and Mark Boos is an excellent driver could only get 90.1 with it. I have gone over 102 with the Maximus and if my engine would not have had a problem I am sure that I was getting ready to blow past that by another 5 to 7 mph. The boat felt soooo good last time out after Brett did a little more work on the prop.

I hope you have great luck with your new prop....if it is like mine...you will not believe the rooster that you will be throwing!!!:pimp: Call me if I can help you with anything.
