Local incident this weekend. I have seen the boat at the shop I take my boat to have work done. Some friends had seen the boat earlier in the day and had sent me pics.

Says he was only running about 50 when it happened. Would a 45 like that hook hard at 50? Was this a 'driver error' thing, i.e. wrong trim, etc, or a water thing, i.e. an un-seen wake?

My biggest question is how the heck do you get 13 people in the cockpit of any sport boat???

I think it has seating for at least 8, with backwards facing seats behind the driver/passenger seats. Different than any other Donzi from what I remember. 13 is still a lot, but doable.

The ole step hull spin out. He probably had it trimmed in was turning and had a little sidewake induced spin out.
