I'd like to upgrade the steering wheel on my 22zx. I've already upgraded the hub to match the yellow gauge bezels on my dash and would like to keep it. Does anyone know if the bolt pattern on a wheel like in the attached link is the same as the stock dino wheel patten?

Thanks!

I don't know which fits which, and I think it sucks that there's so many different bolt patterns, but if it doesn't, I have some pictures somewhere that show how to modify the hub to fit.
Hint.....the top and bottom always seems to be the same, it's the other four that are the problem.

They have a hub not to worry about the pattern, seem a bit pricey!

I just bought a billet hub for the stock Dino wheel so I'm tryin to upgrade the wheel (and hub) without having to buy yet another piece of billet. I found another wheel on ebay that looks identical to the one I posted earlier, but is listed as a Dino wheel. Anyone know if there is any difference in quality between these two wheels? Thanks...

Although I can't tell you the bolt pattern, I can say that when I bought my Grant wheel it bolted right on the stock hub. Then when I got the Zieger steering, the supplied hub was different. I could have ordered a new hub, but instead I was able to offset the wheel slightly and drill and tap some new holes so I could use the supplied hub. It's not real pretty, but you can't see it under the steering wheel 'horn' button anyway and it saved me the time/expense of ordering a new one.

The ones that Speed and custom marine sells are the Uflex wheels. I know they are good and nice. I'm not sure about the other one you posted. The Uflex / momo pattern is well known, where did you buy your hub? They should know.

One thing to take a look at before buying the wheel is the depth. some of the aftermarket wheels are flat, some come out towards you. I like the flat ones, there already isn't that much room in a Minx and I don't want the steering wheel in my lap. I'm not sure how your boat feels but at least keep it in mind.

Good point on the depth. I got the hub from Eddie Marine and it was marketed as a billet replacement for Dino wheels.

You still may face having to drill the hub you have, a wheel with a small center opening will give you more leeway.

The ones you posted from speed and custom on ebay will work fine. the momo / uflex ponza will work well too.

a guy on OSO, double edges i think sells scratch and dent ponza's and spargi's. I got one for my brother for his B-day last year and the scratch was so minor it was really worth it. I think I paid $65 with the hub, polished spokes.

Thanks for the info, I'll check out OSO.

Got a pic of those gauges? I'd like to see how they look installed.
