Seems like every time I go out, I loose a few screws from the rub rail.

What's your solution?

Thanks!

use the next size screw and use 5200 when installing would be my idea.

Clear silicone is better when it comes time for removal, 5200 hold well enough to let you strip the screw heads requiring drilling out of the screws.

I am with Phil on this one. The other thing is loose screws happens. What I do is nut and bolt the ones on the seams, the most important ones, and only screw the others in.

If you intend to keep the boat for awhile, do it right.........
Remove the rails, buy yourself a hundred #10-24 countersunk machine screws, fender washers, Ny-lok self locking nuts and through bolt them where you can.
Ditto for the rail screws, only w/oval head cross recess machine screws, washers, and nuts.
With some help, you'll be able to replace all of the screws except the ones next to the cockpit.
Actually, it seems on most boats, the problem is worse just forward of the cockpit.
It just depends on how much you dislike tightening them.
