So...I have Donziweez's old 16 classic (by the way...congrats on the new kiddos) & need a windshield fabricator....Called a dealer (pier 57) & they indicated that Donzi Marine may have sub. contracted those windshields out to other businesses. Anyone have dealings with a qualified fabricator that they could recommend? For a 1997 16 classic with wrap around grab rails. Want an aluminum framed windshield. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Scott

A current Donzi dealer should be able to order the windscreen direct from Donzi. There was some talk earlier about Pier 57 no longer being a Donzi dealer so you may need to find someone else. If they can't help then call Donzi Customer Service direct. The aluminum frame windscreens for the 18's were about $600 a few years ago.

You don't know it, but you really don't want one.

It you were to get one that was tall enough to be effective, if would be butt-ugly. The ones that came on a 16 were very low - few 16s ever had one

Ineffective, yes. But they do look cool.

And can you really put a price on that?

If they looked that cool, all 16's would have them from the factory.

All kidding aside, best of luck with that 16 Okie, it's already got a cool history.

on a 16 they look aweful the nose is not long enough to make it look balanced, they look a little better on an 18 but not much , they do look alot better on the 20 and 22 models as far has the classic style hull is concerned .

it's a much different story on the hornets and gt's they carry a windshield well

here is an 18 but i think they have it wrong looks like a 16 to me the nose is way short could be the camera angle
this ad will send the ad speed police here into an irreversible tail spin :nilly:

now here is an 18 notice the nose is longer and the windshiled makes the boat's looks more balanced with the longer nose.
