I need to rebuild my front bench seat base on my Hornet. I thought about using a different material besides conventional marine plywood. I can picture a material that's pvc or plastic and already white, but i dont know the name or where to find it. Any suggestions on something to use?

Starboard solid polyetheline board. It's tougher than PVC board. You can staple into it, thread holes in it. And, obviously, not rot.
BTW, Starboard is only one brand of this material, it's made by many plastics companies.

It's good stuff, if a little pricey. You can work it just like soft wood. Only thing I don't like about it is nothing sticks to it, so you have to mechanically make all attachments (no glue/silicon).
