Boo Boo's close call......

Been a very bad week. Boo Boo is due with the twins in mid-May. She got VERY sick this week with a stomach virus. She spent all day yesterday in the hospital being very sick and having bad contractions. They almost flew her to Salt Lake City yesterday morning to induce delivery VERY prematurely.

She is stubborn as hell and wanted to go home last night, so she came home. Had a bad night and we went back to the hospital this morning. Held her for a while and monitored the twins. They did a bunch of tests yesterday and said she had a very bad virus that has been making the rounds through Jackson. They said that there is not much they can do and it just has to pass.

Got her home this morning and comfortable. After 4 days of no sleep for both of us, and her not eating anything for much of that time, she is finally sleeping, eating and feeling better. I don't know what the dialy intake of calories a pregnant woman with twins is, but she hasn't had it for 4 days. Oh, she also got a little snippy, imagine that?

I was really scared, as was she. I can not tell you how sick she was since last Wednesday.

Thanks to everyone who expressed concern on the Coosa board thread. I think everything is going to be fine.

Despite all of that, the hospital said I might be a daddy in the next week or two.......:):):):):)

Kathy was sick for half of the last pregnancy. Sick + Prego == horrible so I know somewhat of what you are feeling.
