My Father in Law is about 20 miles from there. What do you need?
Give me a call if you'd like 210-681-3557

Thanks Wes, but I don't want anyone to drive any distance. I only want someone to check the condition of a used prop, so I thought if someone drove by this place on a regular basis, they could check it out. It's not worth someone going out of their way.

I will give him a call when we get back from the lake. He lives on his ranch up there and has to get groceries somewhere. Maybe in Alba. I'll let you know.

Also, I stayed in Alba a few years back when we put a sidecar on the motorcycle and there is not much there. A grocery store, gas station and 2 restaurants. Didn't see a prop shop. Maybe he works out of his garage.

If he's in the area, it'd be great if he could check it out. I just want to confirm that it is what the guy says it is.
I'm always leery of buying something from someone I don't know (or hasn't been referred) if I have no way of seeing the product first.

Thanks

Yeller, He will be through Alba on the 9th. If it's something you want we can pick it up and ship it to you. Just let me know what it is and what kind of condition you are expecting.

I just checked and the 9th is a Saturday. Last Sat he told me he was only open 9:00am to 1:00pm. I'll double check the hours of operation for you.

Thanks,
Glen

Thanks for your help Wes. Thanks also to your father-in-law for checking it out for me.

I just wanted to make sure it wasn't damaged. I purchased it this morning. At $200, if I don't like how it runs, I can easily resell.

No problem Glen,

It turned out to be a win-win situation. He went down there and chatted with a few people and now they want to hire his wild west show. He plays Doc Holiday and LOOKS the part. What a character and a great guy. I'm lucky I have good in laws. And to boot, they like me...Go figure...

Have fun with the prop.
