Has anyone changed from a trs drive with a tranny to a bravo with no tranny and what kind of mph difference did you see?

No appreciable difference. Did the TRS blow up?

At mleast I don't go here. I have a TRS with only 5 hours on it since rebuild that is for sale if yours is broken. I went Konrad, because of the power I will put to it. The truth is the TRS is much Stronger then the bravo. They stopped production because of cost, not durability.:nilly:

Bingo! The weak link was the tranny, unless you have a B/W. I had my tranny beefed up to handle 650 hp supposedly. A lot smoother shifting too.

------Yup,,,My two B/Ws for the Spitfire are done to 650 as well. All the good BAM internal stuff, etc. Total overkill in my case (two 420HPs) but it will give me piece of mind........Bill S

Truth is There is always a weak point. I will tel you this is that weal old Merc trans is still stronger then a bravo, let alone a beefed up birg. BTW only use type F in the trans:yes::yes:
