Trying to measure top speed of Donziweasel's ex 16 classic....kind of hairy driving in the mid sixties & above....speedo jumps from 65 to 70...I have an old gps that has ground speed but, it won't show top speed attained. Want to be able to lay the gps down & pay attention to the boat & water...not the gps at those speeds. Anyone have a recommendation for a cheapo gps that shows max speed obtained. Thanks, Scott

the garmin etrex is cheap does what you want and comes with a handle bar mount for a mountain bike that works on the 16 grab rail very nicely

I have several Lowrance units, 1 global sport, 3 Ifinders 2, XOG, a Global sport 3300c. The XOG holds ecerything and the all use the same storage SD card. It cost $160 at Carbelas the last time I looked. I got my first global sport in,1997. BTW they all still work fine, I use at least 2 or three on the Criterion at events. I just don't want to get lost.

I agree with Matty, I have one that mounts to the grab rail. It's a very robust mounting system that works very well.

My old Lorwance has the mount for bicycle/4 wheeler...but, it's old....

Donzi Weasel....When I'm able to look down at the tach....it's in the 4K's....Bblades labbed Mirage Plus 25....Still haven't done any full runs yet...acquiring seat time....been boating for 40 years & it's the only boat to intimidate me...really, just more of a challenge....Have taken a 16 flat bottom across 4-5 foot swells....the worst I've ever seen a lake around here....everything was secured & I was alone....was grinning ear to ear....I love this little bitch!!!! (terms of endearment). Scott
