Smack talk--lemme see...how about the classic braggart "I'm so <blank>..." style?

I'm so fast, I'm not even bringing a BOAT and I'll beat everybody to Lee's Ford.

I'm so fast, I'll even get there before the driver of the boat I'm riding in.

(What's Lee's Ford again? Time to hit Google maps...)

Trash talk aside for a second, we get a bum rap for the spring run-off here.
The lake has been CLEAR for the past couple of runs, because the water has been dropped 43 feet to allow for repairs to the dam.

Last year was the fastest run I had ever expereinced at an AOTH on average.
A couple of us chased Shea and never did catch up. Of course, it could have been that he went to Washington DC and back to get to Lee's Ford.

Yeah, but he only went that far because that was the closest place to restock the evening's cooler .....

turning to go the "right way" doesn't constitute winning

I have only been going for a couple years and have never seen any of these logs you guys are talking about

and yes I have been from one end to the other and back again half way to the turn for lunch

would also think that the organizers would put up some signs for those of us running at the front of the pack

its just curtousy

Pearson is trying to talk me into a roadtrip, not sure the truck can hold enough beer, at what quantity do you have to worry about transporting liqour across state lines 30 or 40 cases??

glashole

If its the american stuff i wouldn't worry about it too much, up here we don't need any special permits for transporting water anywhere

I would imagine its the same down there

hope you can make it

Shea, I'm a huge fan of beer smack, but you may want to re-think your current targets. You're talking about Matty and Pearson, it's not like they're a couple of guys from Texas or Florida, they'll put you to bed, steal the rest of your beer, and laugh at you in the morning...... :D :D

Safety beers... knock them over they don't break, drop them off the dock they don't sink.

That was the culmination of a long running hockey bet, and a discussion about the only thing foam should be used for around Donzi's....

runs about 30, but it doesn't stop at those speeds for quite awhile.
The cracked fender on the right front is evidence of a running tree that got in the way last fall.

Shea, should you chose to take it on a late night blast, please hit the running tree on the left side to even out the cracks!

You are on your own, should you chose to eat a little bark on the way.

Thank you!

Yes, Frieda please.

Yes Frieda. Yes we need to make some "special" accomondations for all of the non-red boats coming to the AOTH, especially the black ones that look like a 79 Trans-am.

Yes, that is correct, the Burt Reynolds and Sally Fields thingy ended about 30 years ago, but yes we have folks with a big chicken on the hood still celebrating like it was yesterday.

You do have some slips out with the houseboats? Perfect.

How far a walk is it? Three or four miles? We'll take them.

Red boats rule..

(not going to lie to you that smokey and the bandit slam was pretty good though)

quite a bit of creativity from a guy leading the followers who when had to make the most important decision on his boat

"what colour do you want?"

"well, I dunno, what do you suggest?,
the one you have in stock?,
ok I guess all my buddies have red ones too, so i will go with that,
you say they are on sale because everyone and their dog has one? perfect!
whats the gas mileage on that one anyways?"- (yes that one was for Carl)

is the color of Ferraris, some of the fastest and most exclusive sportscars in the world.

I actually ordered mine in red, believe it or not.

My thinking? By the time you realize I am not one of the "typical" red 22's running out there, I am three miles ahead of you.

Fairly simple actually. Red as cammo.
