There is a road in Dixie County called Bowlegs Mainline. I bet it was named for Billy Bowlegs. It's in the Lower Suwannee Wildlife Refuge where I used to hunt a lot. :)

Dunno...gonna try and find a room here in the next couple of days. Probably gonna go down saturday morning bout daylight and boat all day, stay the night and hang out, come home sunday. Never been to Bowlegs before. I hear it's a good time.

Just booked a room at the Comfort Inn & Suites in Ft. Walton right over the bridge.

Thats it! I don't think they would have a problem. Never had a problem with any other place I've stayed. I'll call and make sure.....

Post some pics after the festival.....I miss FWB/Destin.....stationed there from 89 to 99........loved the water.....lived off Brooks St right there off the water.....Boated 12 months 3-5 times per week.......One day I will make it back! Have fun and stay safe.

Had a blast this past weekend at the festival! One of the biggest boat parties I have seen. Boat ran great and performed flawless in the bay.(first time in salt) I have some pics if I can ever find the damn camera. :confused: Will deffinately make it again next year!

Vette, we were gonna park the boats at the motel but ended up storing them at a marina right down the road for 20 bucks....The parking at the motel was good but the Festival had it full of boats and cars by the time we got there. Ended up staying on the water for around 10 hours that day.

I'll post pics here shortly.
