Anybody remember the color combinations from Saab in the early-mid seventies?

I used to have a 1967 Sweet 16, made the mistake of selling it. Saw this one and I'm seriously considering buying it. Seems to have been a lot of discussion about it. Other than the color is there a reason not to buy it at this price? The guy says that I shouldn't have any problems out of it. He said it GPS at 58 mph and it has 300 hours on it. Does anyone have the long term scoop on this boat?

Thanks for any info.

If that is the boat that came out of the 1ooo islands a few years back(based on color I'm sure it is) it was my cousins...and when he put it up for sale I didn't even go look at it and I was looking for a 22. It was run by a middle aged man who didn't abuse it but also didn't take care of it like I think they should be. Having said that it is priced low enough to play with if you can do the work. I would say the hours are correct...it really didn't get used too much.If you enjoy working on a project go for it...if not buy a better boat, they're available.

Angus, was your cousin the original owner? Would you mind getting in touch with him and see if he would mind calling me? I would really like to get some history on this boat. Tom 256-777-0844
