I just received these in the mail from a former donzi engineer and thought i would share my excitment with the boards. The package includes:

--4 original drawings of the Donzi z33 when it was in the design stage.
-- marketing video 1986 introducing Donzi and the new models
-- original brochure from 1986-1988
-- kick a$$ license plate

Sorry for the iffy quality on the pics.

Happy New year,

Fish

Fishboy...............Donzigo checking in.

Is there a way I could get a copy made a Kinko's? I would die to have a copy of the side view to frame & put on the wall of my pool room.

Can you tell that I'm drooling...............???

Is there an Architect in the crowd? They routinely make that sized copies. Maybe get a bunch made and sell them to who ever wants to hang them up in their favorite place. :)

Hey everyone, thanks for sharing my enthusiasm about this awesome find. As far as copies, that was one of the first questions I asked when I found out about the drawings. I am right now under a promise not to do so, but I plan to keep in touch and hopefully I can change his mind. I will keep you posted, and yes I do have firearms...lots of them LOL wink

just for info, Kinko's does have large format copiers which will take those drawings. They are not engineering quality copiers, there will be minor dimensional abnormalities but none significant enough to be seen by the naked eye... just don't try to fair a set of lines off one of those copies (how do I know this? )

I am an engineer for Wawa, Inc. I have access to a large 36x48 Xerox copier machine! It prints just like a regular copier machine and I am able to enlarge or reduce. I will be glad to make pretty decent copies for just the shipping costs! Free copies to my fellow Donzi friends. Just let me know what you guys want to do and how many are going to get made?

I would love to have a copy for the refinished basement!!

DOnziNuts- Thanks for the offer to make copies, but right now I am still under the promise above not to do so. Hopefully things will change.

Hanker- not planning on selling it; it is going on my wall after a little touch up.

Donzigo- some regular ones... some not so regular. A little something something for every occasion I guess LOL

I have this plate that I bought from Donzi in the late 70's.....it is die struck, pretty cool. I got it from Roy Farmer when the factory was in Lauderdale Lakes. Guess I would sell it.....

Ted, I want that plate. PLEASE. My Criterion was built in Lauderdale Lakes, and that plate matches the color combo of the boat, and the owners packet that came with it.

PLEEZE :D

btw, I am interested in the 377 Scorpion engine.
