Just hauled the 22c back from it's winter storage.

When I pulled the cover the smell almost knocked me down. :bawling:
Cat piss I think. Seems only to be in the carpet.

So I washed the carpet really good and guess what.

Yep the smell was worse after. Almost gagged !!!!! :puke:
As soon as the rain stops I am going to soak it with the enzime stuff (Wee Clean). (not wii clean)

Next yr the carpet and cushions stay in the house !!!!!

My girlfriend says Natures Miricle available at Pet smart is the best stuff you can use. Saturate it per the instructions and let it dry and the smell will be gone.
GoodLuck!

Natures Miracle is amazing stuff and not just for dog and cat stuff, even takes smell out of mildew.

Yes, take the carpet and cushions out, leave every hatch and access cover open and don't cover it.

Eeew...That sucks! I store my carpet and seats in my basement over the winter.

how did a cat (?) get underneath the cover.... and then escape the same way?

Maybe he's still in there.:shocking:

My dad drove 30-miles down the freeway in NM one time with a cat under the hood.

Maybe it was a wolfpigeon.

They have to roost somewhere.

The same thing happened to me. Washed with a hose. Scrubbed with soap and water. Purchased (5) different types of cat pee remover. Scrubbed many more times.

Took it to a car wash and power sprayed it. Boated at least 5 more times and scrubbed it. Carpet removed each time and and allowed to air out in the garage. This was last year.....

Smelled it last weekend and the underlying pee is still there. I even dusted it with carpet fresh and used the home vaccum on it. It's not nearly as bad but damn......

Nope the cat is not there now. Looks like it was getting in by
jumping on the drive (foot prints on the drive cooler) then getting
under the cover above the exhaust.

Next winter I will put the snap down c0ckpit cover under the big
cover. At least no poo or dead leftovers.

I once pulled a boat home (1 1/2 hrs) and then found a mother cat with
2 new born kittens suckling. The kittens are still here, 10 yrs later.

Griz - So you must know my x-wife !

The only thing I hate more than cats are bayliners so that tells you something. I agree with Natures Miracle as well.

Natures Miracle works well. I've also heard vinegar works even better, but I've never tried it.
