Dwight, I know I asked you before, but I plum forgot what you told me. What type of motormounts did you use for the blue motor? I know they were something specail.........

Nope nothing special..after lengthy discussions I listened to Poodle and my mechanic. We went with the factory mounting hardware. We made new thicker backing plates and the stringers were beef'd up for the 500. There are many opinions out there all valid:wink:....I was considering the race mount but opted not to as i'm not racing the boat and subjecting it to those conditions on a regular basis. Some here have the race mounts and luv them with no issues...Whatever you do i'm sure you will be happy...:biggrin.:
