Pantera offers lifetime warranty on all there glass work to original owners, pleasure & racing

2 flaws in that warranty.

1. Offered to original owners only (non transferable)
2. Depends on Pantera remaining in business for a "lifetime"......

IMHO a 5 year transferable warranty from a company that's well capitalized, diversified and been in business for more than 10 years is a far better deal.

Nothing against Pantera, I'm just saying that warranties from small, custom builders are a false sense of security.

the company has been in biz since 1974,and states original owner however that tells you a LOT about the construction. I'm sure you would've have bought a product from Montgomery Wards since they were around since the 1800's. Like the stock market ESPECIALLY these days past performance is no indicator of future performance. BTW The reason a lot of boat companies went from 10 to 5 is...WHAT DO YOU THINK? No brainer, there building them CHEAPER to MO MONEY.

a Lifetime Warranty is only as good as the business lifetime of the boat builder.... or the boat owner for that matter, whichever timeframe is shorter...

There are some water treatment mfgr's w/lifetime warranties......like Rainsoft.
The meaning in their case, the warranty stays in affect until a part fails, or you could call it a "one time" warranty.
