I can't stand carpet in anything ESPECIALLY a boat. Does anyone know if there is a teak cockpit floor, preferable hinged (foldable) that fits in a 22C

Thanks in advance

I'll see what Donzi will do for me , if nothing, I might just put down teak and ash since I'm gonna keep her :-)

I can't stand teak. It's way to much work to keep it looking good. I'd rather paint the floor to look like teak.

I saw that fake teak at the Miami show and it's unbelievably real even right up close. looks like it has excellent grip too.

I think if you do teak floor the boat needs other teak accents too. like a teak dash panel. just a teak floor doesn't do it for me, looks odd all on its own.

This might work for you, it was inexpensive, waterproof with no maintenace and very nice on the feet..............

shouldn't you figure out WHY the floor is cracking first?

I've always thought a teak floor in a classic would look great. Get DickB to make you a teak dash with his fancy new wood machine and I be the final look would be awesome.

Thanks Yeller, will DEFINATELY look into it, trying to take the performance of the Donzi & kinda merge with the class & finish of older wooden boats like an old Chris, you get the idea. Carpet doesn't belong in a boat.

If you do anything that floor w/o pulling the deck, flipping it and reinforcing the underlying structure first,

YOU'RE WASTING YOUR TIME!

You may not be aware of that fact, but I am.
There's only about three or four of us here that have fixed these problems properly.

Don't worry George he's still trying to pawn it off.

I wasn't going to say anything but:

I agree George, I'm not a democrat , I'll fix the problem lol. I'll drop it off in Sarasota on my way home to Lauderdale next month than do the floor.
