Now how long will it be before we start hearing about people incinerating their vehicles and blowing themselves up trying this ... ?

We have been doing that here for years, out in the bush with low tire pressure sometimes you lose a bead blowing a tire off the rim, this is an easy, quick and safe way to remount tire, IF done correctly.......

I use WD-40 to spray my crab traps with. Being an animal based oil it actually works

I'm surprised at you Lenny .. that wasn't very clear at all .......

Does the WD40 stop the traps rusting or does it attract crabs ? ? :lobster:

Lobster men have been know to do it down by me, if caught there is a BIG fine. 100% illegal and it is a pollutant, I bet your fish and game frown on it!

neither it makes the cage slippery and when the crabs try and escape they try and grab the cage but it is too slippery and they get trapped then cooked and drawn with butter and some old bay ;)

It is to attract crabs and LOTS of people do it. :) Keep in mind "lots" here is ten times less than "lots" there ;)

puts out about the same or even less pollutants than a boat motor from the looks of it..............

The name reportedly came from the product being the 40th (and successful ) attempt at creating a water dispersing agent for the space program. I don't remember where I read this but it seems like a logical story,. I think Field and Stream did an article on it years ago.

I watched them do that years ago on the Discovery Channel. Couple trucks were 4 wheeling it across the Arctic. The only difference was they were using butane.

We use a flammable spray to seal big bus tires, works like a dream. Got a Cheetah Bead Sealer, but sometime only the fire will work.
