Bravo 3 (DuoProp) says 100 Ft/# for the front prop and 60 Ft/# for the rear prop. I can't find a torque figure for Alpha I in the my 600 page Clymer Merc Manual. I just pull the nut down Snug and tab it. John

While a torque wrench is valuable for many applications (assuming it is calibrated - big assumption), the turn-of-the-nut method suffices for most applications. For a prop shaft with relatively large diameter and fine threads turn-of-the-nut method should be fine - get the nut snug and then turn it another 1/2 to 3/4 turns.

That is what this Old Fart does!!! I have never ever torqued a prop in over 40+ years of getting paid for it never seen one go bye bye. I use the stamped steel Merc wrench pull until I break wind then bend the tabs in. Over the years I can not count how many I have found floating on the shafts obviously moving back and forth shining things up a bit, so good and tight is good enough for me!

Turn it until those tabs can be bent in. No choice. Props don't fall off often.
