Just before I resigned my from my job back December 1st, the dealership traded in a 2001 Honda Elite 49 CC scooter. No one knew what ACV $ to put in it, so I bid $350.00. Now Denise decided she wanted to ride it...I need another scooter...:newzealand:
Anyone else here have a "Scooter", I'm not talking Harley-Davidsons, the small stuff that gets 80 MPG.:newzealand:

I accessorised it with a "Milk Crate" and a "Pirate-Safety Flag".

Hey Pal, what do you have?

I started thinking about a Vespa...WOW!$$$

A Pro-Charger would be less money!

Where's GM's scooter offering? At the prices they want for a Vespa, seems like ANYONE could make a good scooter for less.

Just the idea man here, somebody run with that...

My wife has a 125cc "Genuine Buddy" scooter and she loves it for little around town jaunts. She hardly ever gets on her "real" motorcycle anymore.

My buddy in Ormond Beach has a Harley Deuce, but he takes his scooter to the store. :)

Have you checked out the vintage Vespas on E bay ? Those go for Crazy money. They restore them overseas and import them here with poor workmanship.

Vespa is the Harley of scooters. They sell for waaaay more than they are worth because people pay for the name.

If you want a bargain, look at something like the Yamaha Vino - basically a similar look to the classic Vespa for 1/2 the cost.

If you want performance, or high-tech, look at Piaggio. The MP3 in particular is really cool. The dual wheels seem like a gimmick, but I understand they work REALLY well.
