It was a bittersweet and sad day. Scott Hickman picked up his new and my old 16 today. I think you get attached to Donzi's and although I look foward to the Criterion, seeing my 16 pull away for the last time was hard. I loved that little boat.

Anyway, Scott lives in Oklahoma, and has signed up here. I believe his screen name is Okie2, or something like that. Be nice to him as he seems to be a good guy and now owns the fastest Donzi on his lake.

Mike, you won't be dissapointed. Great engine with quality components. Loved the MSD ingnition. Only one problem. It comes with great valve covers, but they won't fit with the stock Merc logs. I had to use the old Merc ones.

I told Scott to let me know what she runs at his altitude in Oklahoma, should push it close to 70 if not more.

I know I'm going to feel the same way when this project ride off into the sunset. Lucky/unlucky enough I don't think I will be selling it this year even though that was the original plan last fall.
