I realize this is not marine related, a good friend of mine is looking for new power for his Vette. He would like a COMPLETE fresh 350 SBC. He believes anything pre 1985 will work, any ideas or leads? Thanks..........

He is looking at those but here in Victoria we are very limited as to where we can get them from, on top of having to wait, there are extra fees involved. I thought he might be better off dealing with somebody south....???

Jeremy, Victoria Motors, (the old Cornell) brings in crate engines.

Also, not related, I have a 1970 LT1 block, crank, rods and pistons sitting in a box c/w manifold and many spiders... Never bored.

How fast were you yesterday and how COLD were you :D

He looked at "Cornell"....... prices were not great........if you are seriously looking to sell yours let me know and I can pass the info to him.........

Actually it was not that cold out, it was a little chilly when I first got out at about 10 but warmed up pretty quick.........

I had the 23p Laser on the boat, the 27 Mirage is getting a little cup put in her.........:biggrin.:

Even with the 23, I got just over 74 before the exhaust change, now I get just over 76...........should be interesting with the Mirage........

BTW. I put the "monster tabs" back on after trying out various props without the tabs, no difference.......instead of filling old holes and drilling new ones etc I think I will leave well enough alone..........
