I have a fetish for 359 flat top Pete's..

i've known this truck since week one new, that's 30 years... only 6 KT600's were ever built... still garaged close to me... one owner... at one time it was THE fastest and strongest truck in So Fla... originally owned by Doug's Tractor Service and known everywhere as Bull of the Woods... it's an animal... a very cool animal...

Sooooo, what exactly would you do with something like that?

I understand the beauty of the machine but I never realized there was a market for "show" trucks?

I was going to say the Macks are my favorite, would love to see yours, even if it is a model! There was a small Mack b-series dump for sale here locally, it was sitting in a field for about 2 years with a sign on it. I always threatened my wife that I was going to rescue it, then one day it was gone.

Ohh,aren't they fun to drive/shift loaded climbing a series of short hills !
Miss a gear, coast to the side of the road and start over. Two hands on the shifters at the same time with one going thru the steerng wheel spokes, arm holding steady the wheel.
At least the one i drove had an air assist steering ram. :drive:

And even more fun to work on.
There's still a few kicking around here.
I guess we are dating ourselves here.
