I am not offended by anything he said and agree with him on most points. I even read the other article that is linked in that one about how we got here. I don't believe we will see 3000 in the stock market, but further losses are probable.

I love America, but am thouroughly disgusted by our government right now and have completely lost faith in Congress (Republican and Democrat) and POTUS......

The guy is ABSOLUTELY RIGHT. This may be the closest I have ever read to what I belive and have been writing about.

While it may seem an affront at first blush, I would save my energies of aggravation for those whose deliberate actions caused our problems, and also for those who allowed it. Anything else feels like shooting the messenger.

I've said it before:

2010 2010 2010.
Out with the Dems. Out with the Republicans. One has both rhetoric and action to fiinish us off. The other has better rhetoric, but a still-terrible track record of bankrupting us while lining their own pockets and the pockets of their friends. And willingness to cut deals with the Democrats, who do the same.

Libertarians and Constitutionals ARE the answers. We probably need to combine those parties, but those are the people who will actually do what people clamor for but haven't voted for:

contained, fiscally responsible government
respect for our individual, Constitutional rights
voting their conscience rather than voting money to cronies
removing unsustainable government spending that is crippling our living standards, driving us all to poverty
Sadly, the election is a long way away. I hope and pray honest elections actually happen, and we have not suspended them do to "national security" concerns. If we don't put someone better into Congress in 2010, I fear the days of the reasonably-honest U.S. election may be over.

If all of this sounds paranoid, it would be wise to look up the WRITTEN, STATED PURPOSE of socialism, as well as to reflect on its history in infiltrating the internal politics of non-socialist countries. And to examine the details of how the most powerful nations and empires of history collapsed. If you think that's ridiculous and can't cappen to us, you should take Steven Wright literally when he says:

I intend to live forever. So far, so good.

The Government as it stands is run by the rich and does only for the rich while we pay or should I say try to pay the bills. They should all be gotten rid of along with all the lobbyists, then hire proven competent business people to run the show. Any of the newly hired one that can not do it right should be fired and replaced. There should be an over sight board of common people to watch their actions, also all original Constitution passages should be put back the way they were originally written. We can be great again just get rid of the trash and get honesty back into Government!
