There is an ITS Drive on eBay item #160319490840.
Any thoughts out there on pros and cons of mating this to a B1 drive with a 2" shorty.
I'm building a 540 with a Pro Charger with mild boost - should be in the 550 - 600 hp range at 5200 rpm.

Nice, but he is dreaming on the price. Mercury has drastically cut the price on these. I can buy them brand new OEM for less than that, Also they require a very specific helm, the only one that will work is made by Latham for Mercury and it is very pricey. FWIW, I can buy brand new Mercury HP transom's complete for $1555.00 from Mercury if anyone is looking for them....

I thought it was steep. I appreciate the input on the requirement of a special helm. I was hoping that I could continue to use the standard power steering stuff.
Mr. X I am interested in the HP transom assembly gimbal etc. Will a B1 with Imco drive mate without any issues.
The boat is an 22 classic, with a 500+ hp motor.
Thx.

How do you build a 540 WITH a Procharger and only get 550-600 out of it ? Do you leave a couple pistons out ? :)

No joke, you can pull 700 hp on that combo without even trying hard

Fred,
yes it will, providing you use the Bravo 1 upper and not the Imco upper.
