Fantastic buy for somebody. It's been 44 years since the second Sam Griffith Memorial Powerboat Race. I wonder how many of todays racers that would still have the guts to take part in an old school race. Even if You read it before it's still worth reading again. This boat is as good as the guys who built and raced them. :worthy:

Looks like a great boat in good shape. Docked next to a 1967 with 440 Chyslers in Sandusky, Ohio back in the '90's. That boat could Fly! I grew up on wood Lyman's & Chris Crafts, but always had an eye for the 28' Donzi Sportsman! Checking it out on Saturday, sounds like it is a good buy-ready to go in to the water. Will post if I buy it-may need some advice-you all seem like a great bunch of guys!
