Well Dudes, My wife is having a shi_ (heart) attack. I finally bought my first boat (an 1983,18-2+3) two weeks ago. Get to pick it up this weekend! YEH!!!
The wifes problem with me is the fact that I couldn't help myself last weekend and bought another 18-2+3. HELP ME !!! I'm being threatened with all sorts of bad things,(but, I couldn't help myself and did it anyhow). When Joanne looked out the front door she comes running out yelling "That boat doesn't look two tone brown to me like the one in the pictures!" The 83 is a clean turn key. Buckskin tan with brown sides and center stripe. Dark brown seats. Merc 350/260hp and an Alpha outdrive(Generation One). It does not appear to need anything but fuel! My gawsh! it's BEAUTIFUL!! The other is a 1969 that I asked some questions about a few weeks/month ago. I got an e-mail fom the owner last week wanting to make a deal. He made me an offer I could not refuse. It has a SWEET running (!) 351 H.O. with a nice set of Holman and Moody exhaust manifolds combined with a Holman and Moody/Volvo outdrive. My neighbors LOVE to hear it run! Can't wait for them to hear them in unison. Anyways, My wife thinks a monster is being created. Might she be right? Well, Too bad. Possession is nine tenths of the law (I think) and I got 'em both !!!. I'll post some pictures as soon as possible. Get ready you all. The questions are about to fly. Thanks for your support.
