No Griz I do not do lunch or listen to the radio so we will be moving along at good clip.

Carl you can show us you are a stand up guy by giving the shorty back I think I convinced him he made a mistake. If you do this all will be forgiven. :pimp:

Ha, Lotsa luck! I couldn't understand why that shorty would do wonders for my near identical boat but didn't work for Mick. Alas, no can do my friend. It is installed and I've grown fond of it!

Got your message. It was nice to hear some of the excitment back in your voice over this project.

I will let Mick tell you all what he has been through putting this thing together.

Are you actually going to let somebody sit in that back seat?

I've spent some time crawling over a couple of their work's of art, and the detail is amazing. There is usually some sort of ghosted image throughout the hull.

On the Factory Billet OuterLimits the patent number is ghosted throughout the hull.

On MyWay, the MyWay logo is ghosted throughout the hull.

Mick..wadda think'n power option wise..? ILMOR 710, 610??or Mercury Racing 525, 700sci?? Is the Raylar 496ho not enuff??..:)

hot shot
03-01-2009, 02:56 PM
no i don't think the raylar with cmi's is gonna get it done... i sent the ecu out to be reprogramed we'll see might have to get with mr x.... wayne from sunsation said he would get me a 600 or 700 with the new drive for his cost.... i am leaving room in the new dash for a boost gauge.... i think its time to get serious about going fast.... untill big griz sais i'm ready i'll just keep saving up....

Mick, Your ahead of most because you are careful and don't want to hurt the boat or anyone else. Remember Just because you have the power, It doesn't mean you have to use it. One thing I will say the ride with you at lake George was enjoyable to say the least. If you leave it with the Raylar and are wondering it you can handle it, we can do an educational run in my Criterion at Cumberland. If you decide on a super, just get it done by a good guy and do not go crazy, 700HP hurts things even if you don't abuse it. Moderation is the key. Driving a 22 above 80 is a labor intensive task, even when it is set up correctly. You have my number, If you need info just call. Just stop raising the bar so damm high. Your one of the few that can put that much graphics on a boat and still make it look good.:yes::yes:

Mick, is that a completely new hull? New deck? If that is your old boat that I saw how did the dash end up blank and vent holes etc. gone? "Donzi Limited Edition 001"........hmmmmm

hot shot
03-02-2009, 07:53 AM
I had the holes filled in when painting the boat as well as the clam shell holes.... and i went with the vents like the shelby to match the engine hatch.... we are building a new dash overlay out of fiberglass that goes up to the wind screen... all of the small gauges will be mounted there... the monster gauges and my garmen gps plotter and mabe a glove box in what is the current dash ... should be cool..... we are working on the mold

Sleep...when, I had 14 boats on the property last week and had to replace the fuel systems and 1 drive on my own boat. The "famous" Mcleod dumped a load on us that we could not overcome in 2 weeks including 1 seat that was upholstered backwards and had to be redone the day Mick was suppose to leave. I did take 3 days off last weekend but it did not include boating just my mothers wedding and honey do's.
