I have a single engine stainless marine bracket. I'm in the process of rebuilding and I may go dual.

I'm in the process of redoing my formula 233. When I got it it had twin stern drives (Chevy 350's).
Took them out and put a single Yamaha 250hp.
Now redoing the stringers (Again :bawling:).
Thinking about upgrading to twin 200's or a single 300hp etec or suzuki.

After I took the inboards out and changing the transom I put the yammie on it. A year or so later I was told that the stringers were bad. I paid a guy to change them he did, however last year I developed a crack in the cap. After investigating, it was discovered that the stringers were loose ( fiberglass had not bonded to the wood) and the transom needed to be replaced. (The glass had pulled away from the wood in some places).

At this point the transom is replaced (rock solid:smile:), and boat is gutted.
