....it was definatly the way to break up the drive to Daytona.

I also think you Donzi will be a great tender for your new boat.

I felt honored to be there as it was coming back from it's sea trial

Thanks much,

Ken

It was my pleasure, Ken! We even managed to get back to the mothership with no mishaps!

It'll make a great tender, but you'd think these Hatteras guys from the factory could figure out how to build a cradle for it! Just can't get good help nowadays!

OK, back to the real boat.:)

Zoom in on the middle pic, check out the sweet vintage padding around the interior. Very nice and very rare.

Thanks Chappy and yes, the Donzi is indeed the most valuable boat I own. About as close I'll get to owning that Hatteras was smelling his exhaust today.

It's one if the very few I've seen with the padding.

From an '84 that was for sale out in Portland,OR a couple years ago. I wonder where that boat ended up? The Hornet IIs from that era (early '80s) also have the padding.

I like the padded surround, and the super-functional "eyebrow" windshield.

Not sure what that means, but as far as I can tell, the only function of Howard's 22, is to funnel all the air directly in your eyes.

As evidenced by the quote above my post, I was referencing the pic of the '84 for sale in Portland...with the mid-80's style dark plexiglass windshield with the two built-in wind deflectors, also known as "eyebrows".
