I'm shopping for a truck toolbox. A crossover box looks like the best fit for what I want.

If anyone has any strong feelings about any particular brands, design features, finishes, etc, etc, I'm all ears. Something less easy to break into is desireable, but I don't know that anything looks all that secure to me.

You can get the aluminum for looks and a bit of security, Or, They do make steel ones that are very secure, Kinda like a job box for the back of your truck. I'm sure poodle knows of them. Nobody would get into it by accident.

In my ideal world, it would bridge across the bed, leaving a little room for 4x8 stock so slide below it, and be fairly low-profile with relatively little actually up above the rail.
