Last Real Texan is having the guys that did the ZX interior do his. I have been impressed with their attention to detail.

Need to do some updates to the zx and decided to give it a whirl...Sent the hatch to PPI in Fl. and got a hold of Jim C down there, This guy is very attentive and seems to be very dillagent about everything. It started with just doing the cover but has turned into a pretty good project in updating the look of the boat. I am in the process of adding 3 headrests to the zx that were never there as well as going with the ZX logo in the cover as well. Was wanting to keep it subtle but after a confrence call and round table with 5 interior designers down there we came up with a pretty agressive design. They are also replacing the original foam with some high density stuff and building the pad up to be level nstead of concave, Those of you with pre-99 ZX's know what I am talking about. The head rests are 6 inches tall and will be more round when covered...pretty bigbut considering the boat will is 28 ft long it should be fine....here are a few progress pics....should be done by the end of the week.
Really can't say enough good things about them down there....

I looked at this and they will not work as I need fixed bottom low seats for the 22zx.Replacing the sit down buckets.

Are you derfinitely going with bolsters or also considering different bucket seat setup? I'd like to improve the seating as well.

Hey Fasttrucker, I added bolsters into my 22ZX about two years ago. I had a guy in California do them for me. He was great to work with. Sent me a template that I was able to modify and color swatches. He built the seats and shipped them to me in about two weeks. There is a thread on this site about it. I'll see if I can find it for you.

Let me know if you want his contact information and pricing estimates.

BTW...the bolsters were a fantastic upgrade in this boat. Changes the whole ride of the boat. Only downside is you have to do your carpet if you want it to look right.

Good luck. PM me if you need some more info.

I ended up buying a part for the seat bracket for $28.Then I had the brackets re-mounted forward on the seat bottom.I had a new back seat made with new foam.Anyway, I would like to do the bolsters, but going to spend my money on beer instead:shades: maybe next year.:crossfing:
