Alright, the 6.2L is sold and the 16 sold this morning on Ebay. Spoke to owner of the 600 hp 540 and arranging shipping now. Hell, I might have this thing running by the time the ice comes off the lake. Bully for me!

I hope the person buying your 16 realizes how fortunate they are!

Good luck with your new Critter, anxious to see it's progress! Kind of a coincidence that it'll still have a nice mountain lake as home port!

The guy got the best deal ever possibly on my 16 @ 11,000.00. Oh well, been on Ebay 3 times, boatrader, etc.... I had to get rid of it. I think it is going to Oklahoma.

Now, Stage 2 is get the 600 hp engine in and dialed in.

Stage 3 is external steering and drive work.

Stage 4 is a possible blower if I am not happy.

John, you won't need Ed's gift. That will ROCK  and with two little ones it will be more than enough for you, them, and Margie. :)

Ed's turbo solution will probably tear the hair off your head and if I was you, and with twins coming, a wife and a new house, I would ease up on that idea :D It will happen fast enough already ...

;)

Lenny; Shame on you:garfield:.. I would NEVER suggest a turbo on a carb sys

Now if the Criterion was F.I. it would be a cool idea, but, I sold my TWIN turbo setup years ago..............Ed

P.S. He is very familiar with nox though

Margi and I have already discussed the fact that this particular boat is mine and not a family boat. She will get her 28 ZXO when the little guys are ready to go out on the lake. Plus, I can't afford a SC or Turbo right now. That will be in a year or two if I decide to go that route, unles someone is just dying to donate one to me.

I think a 600 hp 540 should push her pretty good though. :)

Wired the money yesterday for the 540. Now just have to figure out how to get it here from Long Island.

Check with the motor carrier SAIA they ship lots of stuff....Also one that is rarely used is Fed Ex National freight services I ship a ton of chit with them and I mean a ton last thing was a full pallet that weighed 4500 lbs cost the customer $275.00 from Ga to Ca....Give me a zip code to and from and I will get you a quote...I have an account with them.

Randy, definetly going to need your help. A couple of things, I did not sell the 16 with the Turbo 1 I have been sitting on. I will send it back on Monday. I owe you for shipping on both props, PM me what I owe you.

Also, the guy who bought my Donzi is going to need one. I sold it with a 19 pitch Mirage. Will be great for skiing, but he is going to need something in the 22-23 pitch range for the decrease in altitude. I told him about Donzi.net and maybe he will show up. Really nice guy, lives in Oklahoma, very excited about his first Donzi. Also told him I want to know how fast it runs at his elevation when he gets it propped out.

So, engine with altitude compensation should be 480-490 hp. Would like to see it turn 5000-5200. What ya thinkin'? 23 pitch Turbo 1 to start?
