I like the look of em...But at only 2" outside, Think they might be to short?
Just trying to get an idea of what I want on the rear of the classic.

------I am always swimming off the transom and use the drives to climb out. These rolled-tips are the perfect solution to the slice and dice of any normal slash cut tip. Only problem; I need four. Anybody know how to get them wholesale???...........Bill S

I agree...angles...
The snble cut one look great but sooner or later will draw blood, I have straight cut and have nicked myself a time or two. Those rolled edge tips are good looking and safer.

I installed the Gibson Power Tips which are rolled and I like both the look and the sound. I only have a 454/330 but there is no speed loss.

I really like the look of the gibson! But not wanting to muffle the sound. I would go with the straight or angle cut but I'm one who loves to be the different one in the crowd. I wish they made a 3 or 4 inch outside length with the rolled edge w/ internal flapper....That would solve all my problems.....:cool!:

don't the rolled tips puddle water in the ends?

My Gil mufflers are rolled inward but have a small drain at the bottom, I doubt that sound would be affected.
