I don't discount the threat of this, quite the reverse. One thing I do have some hope of, though, is that the men and women of our military are better than this. I think Ron Paul may have had the highest percentage of military support during the campaign amongst ALL candidates.

The politically connected top brass I have less faith in.

I don't give a how they dress it up, it's socialism. He started back stroking on the things he said while campaigning the day after he was elected. I'm stil wondering how he found $150 MILLION for advetising the last month of th election, when everyone else had exhausted their contributions.

As far as the military goes, I'm seeing a girl who's daughter was in the Air Force in Iraq, and she was picked to be in the color guard to greet O. She said he breezed right past them as if they weren't even there. And this guy is going to be our CIC? God bless America. We are going to need it.

Does anyone really believe that we are not dictated now, watch the polls on issues then watch how the politicians vote. Pretty much how they darn well please! I was in a conversation yesterday and one fellow brought up that the Dems did everything in their power to get Obama into office so that segment of the population could be manipulated to their liking. He said it was easy to see how most of the media hammered anything Republican but stayed hushed about all the stuff that came up and was verified about Obama. He and I feel they were scard Krapless about the Republican team especialy Palin she wante to clean up the hill. Instaed we got a guy who appoints people that immediately get in vestigated, so far the only seemingly clean recored is the general his military adviser. Looks like a the CHANGE went by the boards!!!

Frankly I agree and feel the Gov may have a plan in motion that will lead to much greater control, how many of you took the time to fully read the info in the links I posted including the credits. None of this control thing is new it started back in the 1800's, as wealth and power grew so did the idea.

Rootsy, thanks for the videos--will get through them all, but watched the first one and it was excellent.

I did have one picky comment, but it's just something that is SO misunderstood and abused that I think it merits mentioning any time someone gets it wrong. Especially when it is someone like the guys who made the videos, who pay close attention to most terms. (My guess is you noticed it too.)

The narrator mentioned a collectivist "Robin Hood" approach, but I think this is dead wrong. Robin Hood was not robbing the rich of their property to give it to the poor (on the grounds that the poor deserved it because they were poor). Robin Hood and his men were TAKING BACK what a tyrannical GOVERNMENT HAD STOLEN from them through oppressive taxation, because it was theirs in the first place, wrongfully seized. The Sheriff of Nottingham was a tax collector with a band of thugs.

The real Robin Hood was a hero. But not a hero of the collectivist, trying to even out outcomes regardless of contribution. Quite the opposite, the real Robin Hood was a hero of the individual and his natural rights, including his right to keep his property.
