Just wanted to say how damn good the Minx looks in the album pics on top of the site. Very, very nice!!!!! One of the nicest Minx I have ever seen. George, nothing against your old Minx, it was sweet as well.

350 chevy. The prior owner was a mechanic... Or, I should say was a freaking McGiver with mechanics as far as I can tell. It is an absolute turn key carbed engine that starts like fuel injection with a nasty sound.

The engine was cammed up when I bought it with a different carb, I have a bunch of new parts to put on it that I haven't gotten to yet. I was told 350 HP but I think that is where I'll be when I'm done as an honest number. When I bought it I was a bit over propped with a big eared 23, I'd be happy to spin that properly... I was 200 or so RPM short before.

I'll be no where near the power you'll be putting out:)

I was 200 or so RPM short before. it's not 350hp then... my stock 270 ran a big ear 23 and it was short 200 rpm...

That's what I figured. Definitely has work done, so I'll see when I'm done and get more seat time. :cool:

Might have to wait a bit. Economy has me putting a few projects on the back burner. Would help a bunch if I could sell the 16........:wink:

A good looking unit for sure. now the fun part testing and more testing. Tough job but some one has to do it.

I'm up for all that hard work :wink: I'm taking off for July and August to watch the soon to be born baby, I think he's going to get lots of boat rides.
