Some details of the ad seem a tad optomistic, but this thing must offer a pretty hairy ride at times. Personal checklist...helmet, impact vest, life insurance premiums paid, will updated.

Love to know how much "truth" there really is in that ad. Smallest Skater I've ever seen is a Skater 21 and they don't make that one any more. Numerous splashes of the 21 hull. Some good, some not so good. If that thing is legitimate, it's gotta be pretty rare. It has to been insanely fast with a 2.4 liter Merc.

Skater started out making an 18'...Then a 21'...then 24' and so on..I never heard of a 17 (I haven't looked at the add yet, I'll let you know)

Nope, thats not one of them. I don't believe thats a skater in any way. it surely doesn't look like an early skater. (Oh They weren't pickle forks either...)

Not a Skater, the 18' Skater looks more like a Magnum Missile. Only the paint job looks like the Skater [AGITATOR] that we raced against with our Skater Eastern Express. This cat looks like a [Image, Express] copy that was built here in Algonac Michigan.

Ocean express is what the ebay boat is. Not even close to a skater.

BTW my buddy own the Skater "Agitator" you posted a pic of. Here is what it looks like after a total restoration 4 or so years ago.....:)
