We took out the 22 yesterday. Here are a few pics. I tried a Mirage Plus
29 tweeked out to a 30 1/2. I was dissapointed in the handeling and the way
it did not carry the entire hull. Just gave bow lift and had to drive it alot more. Also was down in speed to 97.6 MPH. Almost 6 MPH down from the Herring 5 blade. The guy in the photo is my good friend John.
He and I grew up racing or Hydrostreams against each other at 90+ MPH
I guess it never ends!

I don't see the pictures...this is not funny!!! Ted..I did not know that it was a Herring five blade that you ran 103 with. Sweet. Have you tried any other props? How many rpms are you trying to turn?

Oh yes, MANY other props, as well as many different outdrives and lowers.
Propping rpm's on this engine are 6100.

Ok..I see them now...That is one classy boat and you are a Classy guy Ted!!! Well Done!! Every detail is perfect. I know that you are proud of it! What drive are you running and where is your prop shaft in relation to your keel? Did you put a pad in the hull? Do you have pictures of your drive setup?

Oh..yes..do you have a picture of it running at speed or with one of those Donzi models?? Either would be fine!!

If I sell my house, I could get George Carter to redo my Criterion, and you to do the engine and mechanicals..WOW what a Donzi I would have.. Almost as beautiful as yours................Ed

Ted, very clean, beautiful boat with the "right" motor. And, yes, you really need a Viper truck to pull it with.
