I have the merc 454 engine out of my 89 z22 and am thinking of doing a few mild mods to it. The engine is a gen 4 330hp 454. Any recommendations on a marine cam, intake an carb? I am more into hot rods and muscle cars and figured that the specs on the marine cam would be alot different because of the torque range. Thanks for any info

Can't speak for the cam- but you're right, you want a torque cam with matching valve springs.

I highly recommend the edelbrock performer rpm air gap intake and a 750cfm edelbrock marine carb. You'll want some stainless marine exhaust too- for the higher flow. It's all a package deal.
