I think the hose is excess water from the pick up being routed to the drive shower.

Dan's boat is/was set up as a race boat I believe, I think those are lifting brackets.

2003 28zx twin 6.2 with labbed 27pitch props 74.7mph is the best i've seen. Other than the lights and stereo it's as stock as wallstreet

Thank You

looking at the pics of it makes me appreciate it alot more than i do when i'm around it all the time, in our garage it's parked next to a 32 skater and a 38zr so most of the time it gets overlooked by any visiters that we have.. these pics remind me how much i love it, or maybe i love the crowd of woman it brings around. lol and i always thought they all loved me and just went boating because thats what i wanted to do..:kingme:

Say now listen, there is nothing wrong with the way your ZX looks, I love the colors! If you were floatin' a bayliner with an Outerlimits paint job and pipes, well then yes, you would then have a pig with perfume. Instead, you have a DONZI.....no need to get some Pride, it's already included.

You know what's interesting, you have Gaffrig guages (as I do), but you look at the test boats in the January Performance Boats mag, and they all have Livorsi (Donzi, Baja, Formula, and the Sunsation), what up with that? from looking at people posts here, seems like more people like Livorsi over Gaffrig, does that sound right?

You mean like the one in this pic? This is the one in CJMike's now. I love that interior. Complete with led dimmer lights. I got a smoking deal on these Gaffrigs so I took it. Also the GPS speedo hooks up to the Lowrance and does not need another antenna. They are 270 degree sweep. They work fine. I am having to replace a few. I already have a carbon fiber dash so I though it best to keep the gauges simple. More is often less. My 26ZX interior is stock......for now!!! Gauges are oil pres, oil temp, water pres, water temp, volt, fuel, boost, egt, tach (w hours) and GPS speedo. Oh yeah, you can't forget the pornometer!

Yours is a non step version Correct. Some like 3 blades some need 4 blades If it is a 1.50 ratio bravo or XR a 27 pitch should work. The real issue is the blower it has high torque at relatively low RPMS so you need to take advantage of that. It is a nice setup if done right. To tell the truth I have seen some pretty poor setups that run well.

The Hedgehog
08-24-2010, 08:56 AM
Pretty!

What Randy said. My 27 liked a 3 blade at the upper end and a 4 blade on the midrange when I installed a blower. I gave up too early on the 3 blades. I really wanted to try the TXP. I bet Randy here knows where to get one.

The boat should be pretty dang fast when dialed in.
