I will be in Orlando for business next month and want to catch up with a buddy and do some offshore fishing. Any recommendations on a good charter near Cocoa beach? Or if anyone has a capable boat and tackle we (2) have beer and gas $ ready!:lobster:

Give us a shout when you are in Orlando. We are 30 mins east of there. 20 mins north or Cocoa We have a 30 foot Sea Ray that needs a good tank of fresh Gas. May have it ready for the water by then. I'll pilot, ya'll fish. Now let me see south is which way again? Let me know when we get to the Bahamas. Wll let you know some good eating places while ya'll are down here. After I saw what you did to Dad's X, I have 2 or 3 classics here that need your touch. Just the decks. ha ha Maybe we can work a deal. Seriously give us a shout when you get a chance. If you will be on the south side of Orlando then Port Canaveral is your easiest location. Here's a link to most of the charters that sail out of the port. http://www.portcanaveralfishingcharters.com/

If your trip take you to north Orlando or the Lake Mary area then Ponce Inlet is your closest location. Here's a link to their charters. http://www.funcoastcharters.com/Fun_Coast_Charter_Boat_Association/FCCBA.html

If you are mor into a party boat than a private charter then The Critter Fleet out of Ponce is good. http://www.critterfleet.com/

Thanks for these links as well! I will have to see how bad my buddy wants to fish vs going for a boat ride.:pimp:
