Oh yeah, I do that all the time.

Come on out, I'll take you for a ride sometime.

I'm guessing that was in Italy? I couldn't make out the plate. But clearly it was somewhere where they don't know how to do a burnout. Because in the US, you don't use Mommy's old 7-series luxo-barge to try to do burnouts....

Hmmmm....I think I'll surf over the to the BMW club page and see when the next track day is.

Actually, come to think of it, the bigger question is where do you find these things??

All that dust must be going to his head. We need to get him a respirator. Or at least one of those little cotton masks all the Asian ladies here in Oakland wear to avoid the bird flu.

Na, we crash much bigger than that-

There's in-car video on page 3 that'll make your butt pucker.

Actually, that was an SCCA race at Mid Ohio. I've driven that track and that's a fast corner to be sure. We had some incidents last year with the BMW club, but nothing like that. One guy missed a shift and grenaded a motor. A Ferrari lunched a 'flappy paddle' gearbox. A rented 350Z flat-sided the drive's side on a tire wall. A Z-coupe ate some tires at turn 10 at Sears. No injuries, other than to egos and wallets.

lol - remindes me of once in collage. A bunch of us were sitting around BSing about stupid things we'd done with cars and accidents we'd had. I told a story about rolling my first car as a kid (right in front of a church on Sunday morning no less). One guy was sort of a 'hanger-on', he was a friend's roommate, and wasn't a car guy at all but wanted to fit in so he chimed in with a story about riding with his buddy when they went around a corner too fast, slid into a ditch, flipped the car through a full barrel roll and landed back on it's wheels then kept going. No damage to the car....but he was scared. We sort of looked at him and said 'uh, yeah, that's nice Ron' then went back to our discussion.

Or the time I surprised a buddy by cranking the old '72 Ford pickup we were riding in through a 'high speed' turn made by looping into and out of an empty parking lot. All 4 tires howling in protest and the body leaning waaaaaay over. My buddy was screeming 'WOW! We were up on two wheels!!'. I let him believe it....made me look all that much cooler when he re-told the story.

:doh: I will confirm that the rears on the BMW wear quicker than the fronts even though they're larger:confused::confused:
